Developing the concept of a Urban Data Hub including all the technological and digital stack of the different phases of the Future Cities Laboratory programme. This hub will be multi-modal and based on the Data Mesh principle.

I have organised and chaired a series of three multi-disciplinary workshops on the role and potential of Artificial Intelligence in Urban Science and in the cities of the futures. The workshops running from June until September 2024 have been attended by about 30 researchers and leadership members of Future Cities Laboratory Global.

I have organised and chaired a 2-days strategic workshop with the Future Cities Laboratory Global Leadership team from the Singapore and Zurich research hubs. The objectives of the workshop consisted in defining the plan to conclude the current research phase, ending in November 2025, and identify the strategic key aspects of a new research phase from 2026 until 2030.

I am participating in the development of an SNFS research proposal on Human-Building Interaction with Self-Owning Autonomous Buildings. My contribution focuses on applying the concept of the Metabolism of a Building to the Living Innovation Lab in Acquarossa, Switzerland.

I organised and chaired a series of four multidisciplinary workshops exploring the integration of the four pillars of the Future Cities Laboratory Global into daily research practices. Each workshop was dedicated to one pillar: SCIENCE, DESIGN, ENGINEERING, GOVERNANCE. The outcomes of these workshops are published here.

In March 2024, we launched a new Engagement Platform for the Future Cities Laboratory Global. This platform enhances interaction among research projects and between research projects and stakeholders. It also includes a framework to store, share, and visualize data produced by the research programme. I presented the new Engagement Platform to the Singapore ETH Centre Governing Board in March 2024.
